The Golden Ratio Colouring Book…updated.
🙂 Coming soon! This is what I’ve been quietly working on this year. So many people have asked me to do a colouring book for years and so this is for you! Although it’s not available until 17th November you can certainly pre-order a copy. Thankyou to everyone at Michael O’Mara books for their support. ❤
A sneeky peek inside…
New Artwork.
I
🙂 Finished this today. Measuring 256mm X 185mm on A4 (250gsm), extra smooth, Bristol board. ❤ It started off as a platonic totem pole but I couldn’t leave it alone. So then it started feeling like I was drawing some exotic spaceship. And now the creative process is complete it looks like a pharaonic, platonic, Chewbacca. 😃
An A4 artwork exhibition.
Here is a selection of my A4 artwork available in my store. ❤ Only £7 each and at A4 really easy to find frames. 🙂
Capricorn One.
Commissioned artwork for 2016. Started on the winter solstice 2015 and completed on New Years day 2016. ‘Capricorn One’.
The Monolith Project.
I prized open my third eye and this came out! 🙂 The Monolith Project is where my energies are going at the moment.
I haven’t used colour for about 3 years now, but I must admit I am getting the urge to try and colour some of these in, even if it’s just to see what it looks like. I have a little black book and on the inside cover I decided not to filter any of my ideas to put down on paper and just let it all flood out onto the paper. Resulting in this image:
It is so relaxing to create these and all sorts of things can be hidden within the images. Everytime my art looks like it has taken a little evoloutionary leap, I often think this is my new style. But I’m learning I always end up incorporating it into all my other styles. So nothing stays the same for too long.
A few days ago I found myself creating one of these images whilst watching English Astronaut Tim Peake emerge from the International Space Station, so I couldn’t resist including them in the picture also.(think where’s Wally!)
The Art of Affecting Consciousness Comic in progress!
I’m going to stop imagining a comic containing my artwork and just create a comic containing my artwork. So I’m in contact with a comic printer to hopefully get 10-50 copies made. I’ve given myself a 3 month deadline to find a way to present my artwork in the comic as I haven’t done this before. This isn’t the final version of the front cover, although it will be something similar. It gives an idea of style. I’d be just as happy to see it as a glossy art magazine or a book but I am an Artist and therefore piss poor! 🙂 ❤
